The end of an era?

UNIVERSAL REMOTE

Slate ran a story on Easter (hence my missing it until now) that has just about everything one needs to know about the Spector trial including this lede:
The relative indifference of the non-tabloid press to the murder trial of Phil Spector suggests to me that the market power of baby boomers is waning fast.
Well, I guess it was fun while it lasted.

I can remember, when Clinton was elected in 1992, the Boomers kind of patting themselves on the back and really looking forward to their time in history.

Alas, both reps from the Boomer generation who've been elected president have shown themselves in their own ways to be among the most egotistic and self-indulgent presidents the country has ever had.
