I'm shocked. He was so tough against Darth Cheney in the 2000 VP debate. Ugh. He rolled over faster than the UConn Husky rolls over for belly rubs.
All of this makes me indescribably happy that, instead of voting for Leiberman for U.S. Senate in 2000, I wrote in Monocle's name.

Yup. You and my father received numerous votes while I lived in CT. Mostly because I don't like candidates running unopposed so, whenever they do, I write in somebody else, even if I like the candidate.
At one point, I used my father but then I realized I don't actually like his politics.
