"Home to arguably some of the best pizza pies in the country"
FOOD FIGHT
While I realize it might be a bit audacious posting this link to a blog where most of the readers are purveyors of the legendary Ray's, Famous Ray's, Original Ray's, Famous Original Ray's, Original Famous Ray's, and (the aforementioned) Legendary Ray's pizzerias, I can't help but think that I've had some mighty fine pizza in the Constitution State.

What is this Ray's of which you speak? More important, where is it?
I've eaten pizza all over the country and never had better than Pepe's and Sally's. Nothing even close.
A decent discussion of the "Ray's" phenomenon can be found here.
The Food Network did a feature on the ubiquity of Ray'ses a few years ago, but I can't find a link.
Great link. Thanks. Gotta love Wiki. Not sure how I missed this whole Ray's phenomenon, but I'm certain I have experienced a "shingle" or two at one Ray's or another in my visits to the Big City.
I noticed mention of Lombardi's in the Wiki piece. That place is on my list for checking out the next time I am in the neighborhood. Any idea how it compares with Wooster Street pizza?
