Item:The Memphis men's basketball team will have to vacate its 2007-08 NCAA tournament runner-up finish and 38-2 record, the NCAA's Committee on Infractions will announce today at 3 pm ...This is really surprising since heretofore Memphis and Calipari have been so lily white in their approaches to the game.
Memphis officials appeared before the Infractions Committee in June, responding to allegations by the NCAA that a Memphis player [had someone else take his] SAT exam to gain eligibility for 2007-08. The player has not been named but only Derrick Rose fit the description in the NCAA's notice of allegations.

I love the NCAA's big brother-esque technique of just vacating seasons. So incredibly lame.
ha ha ha, yeah i don't know which is less surprising - memphis cheating or calipari cheating
