universal remote

OK, I know everyone has seen the list now, so I'm here to beg for a post from Sergio giving us his thoughts on the biggest snubs.

I'm not sure there are enough quotes from Casablanca. And two from Jerry Maquire, really?

At least "there's no fighting in here, this is the war room" made it.

Inconceivable. How could they miss Princess Bride. Inconceivable. I do not think that means what I think it means.

From Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven, perhaps the best lines about death in movie history:

"Hell of a thing, killin' a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have."
"Yeah, well, I guess he had it comin'."
"We all got it comin', kid."

Here's absolutely the best line not on the list. Orson Welles' brilliant ad-lib in the The Third Man, justifying his crimes:

"Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock. So long Holly."
